A light sweater in jaquard knitting with a folded rib in the neck and a pretty yoke with increases branching out. The pattern consists of two colours, one of which can be varied along the way.

The pattern offers plenty of opportunity to use leftovers from the yarn stash. As the primary yarn is carried through all the way, it provides stability in the gauge and thus allows for a little variation in the secondary yarn.

The sweater is worked top-down. The stitches for the collar are cast on with a provisional cast-on and the work is continued in twisted rib. The rib edge is folded and knitted together.

After the collar, short rows are worked with German Short Rows to add length at the back for a better fit. The short rows can be left out if you want to lighten the difficulty a bit.

The increase pattern is then knitted across the entire yoke. This is described in chart as well as written description, allowing you to choose the option which suits you best.

The sweater is divided for the sleeves and the work continues on the body.

The bottom is finished with twisted rib, a double knitted edge and Italian bind-off.

Stitches are picked up under the arms and the sleeves are knitted one at a time. Decreases are made on the inside of the sleeves.
